Published by Rockcliffe University Consortium, the Journal of Virtual Studies (ISSN-2155-0107) was an international, open access, and peer-reviewed journal with a ten year history of research and praxis involving virtual spaces and their use in education.

The Journal of Virtual Studies aimed to create a medium that encouraged continual renewal of what a virtual space for learning was and how virtual spaces could best be used in multiple educational contexts. The Journal published biannually (twice a year, in May and November), and included both papers and multimedia (i.e., infographics, video/machinima, audio, and other forms of interactive media).
